RSI Speaker Series Presents: A Balancing Act - Clinical & Research Work: The Student Perspective

Join us for our next event on Thursday, January 30th from 2-3:30PM! It will focus on A Balancing Act - Clinical & Research Work: The Student Perspective. In this special student showcase, graduate students will share their experiences in clinical practice and research, discuss how those two worlds influence each other, and talk about how to balance them.

The talk features Vahid Anwari, a medical radiation technologist in radiography and MSc student speaking about “How Clinical Practice Has Shaped My Research Interests in Medical Imaging”; Jennifer Ryan, a PhD student, pediatric physiotherapist, and mother giving a talk titled “When the Teacher Becomes the Student”; and Beatrice Manduchi, a speech language pathologist and PhD student discussing “Integrating Theory and Practice: The ITP Loop”. A panel discussion will follow.

Join us if you are interested in bridging the gap between clinical and research work in rehabilitation and medicine. Researchers, clinicians, trainees, and community members are welcome!
