SLP Visiting Professor Lecture: Dr. Monika Molnar

Dr. Monika Molnar: "The monolingual and bilingual perspectives on the building blocks of language in early childhood"

Monika Molnar received her PhD from the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at McGill University in Montreal. At McGill, Dr. Molnar investigated the speech perception abilities of English-French bilingual and monolingual populations. During her postdoctoral training at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL) in Spain, she focused on the language development of Spanish-Basque bilingual and monolingual infants and children. Currently, Dr. Molnar is a Staff Scientist and the leader of the Language Acquisition Research Group at the BCBL.
