Toronto Rehab Research Day 2018

Toronto Rehab’s 13th Research Day, which features a wealth of innovative rehabilitation research, will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, beginning at 8:45 a.m., at the Chestnut Conference Centre, 89 Chestnut St., Toronto, ON. 
 
Our theme for Research Day this year is IMPACT! What do we mean by IMPACT? Our publication rates are extraordinarily high, but publication is not enough for us because we are motivated to make a real IMPACT on people’s lives.  Our mission is to solve problems and bring those solutions to benefit people who have disabilities and their caregivers.  We create IMPACT by 1) changing policies, regulations, guidelines and safety standards; 2) by developing new treatments; and 3) by commercializing our inventions so that individuals and institutions can use them.  Our solutions support prevention of illness and injury; restoration of function; and greater independence and enjoyment of life.
