This award honours Dr. Brooks’ for her dedication to improving lung health.

At the national level, Dr. Brooks has contributed to The Lung Association as Chair and Past Chair of the Leadership Council of CRHP. She leads the Circle of Champions as a spokesperson and avid campaigner for Breathing as One (the campaign for lung research), and is a co-chair of the Canadian Respiratory Conference as well as a presenter.
