Faculty of Medicine Celebrates Rehabilitation Sciences' Newest Graduates

Recent graduates Mary Boulos and Sanjana Shellikeri are currently being featured on the Faculty of Medicine’s website where they share their experiences at RSI and how it has shaped their future endeavors.

Mary Boulos is an MSc RSI graduate at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the Faculty of Medicine who convocated on November 5, 2019. She describes her postgraduate experience at RSI as, “an invaluable opportunity to work every day at an internationally recognized academic hospital while collaborating with peers at multiple sites across Toronto.” Boulos is now a first-year medical student at McMaster University.

Sanjana Shellikeri is a PhD SLP graduate at the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the Faculty of Medicine who also convocated on November 5, 2019. She remarks on how her supervisors, particularly graduate coordinator Dr. Yana Yunusova, had made a tremendous impact on her development as a researcher and academic. She is currently pursuing a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Frontotemporal Degeneration Center and aspires to improve the lives of people with neurodegenerative conditions and work towards a real-world impact.
