SLP Visiting Professor Lecture: Dr. Stephanie Shire

Dr. Stephanie Shire: "Optimizing Gains in Social Communication and Engagement for Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Community Partnered Early Intervention" 

Stephanie Shire is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Psychiatry at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research interest focuses on the development of community-based intervention programming for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Specifically, she is interested in examining the real world effectiveness of psychosocial intervention practices and parent training/supports for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities especially, those children and families who are under served both in North America and internationally.
